    • Overview
      • CK7 is a cytokeratin with a molecular weight of 54 kD, which belongs to the alkaline B subfamily and exists in many glandular epithelia and transitional epithelium. This antibody reacts with epithelial cells of various benign/malignant tumors. CK7 shows positive for adenocarcinoma in the ovaries, breasts and lungs, but negative in adenocarcinoma in the gastrointestinal tract. CK7 is positive expression in pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, ovarian serous/endometrioid adenocarcinoma. But it is negative expression in epithelioid sarcoma, thymoma, ovarian serous adenocarcinoma, prostate cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma. In kidney cancer, the detection of this antibody can be used for the identification of classical cancer, chromophobe cell carcinoma, and eosinophilic adenoma. In addition, the joint detection of CK7 and CK20 helps to determine the primary site of adenocarcinoma.
