Canine Interleukin-24 (IL-24) Recombinant has been recombinantly produced in yeast cells and purified using ion-exchange chromatography. This is a lyophilized powder with a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
This product is endotoxin free, naturally folded, and post-translationally modified. This product can be used in cell culture, as an ELISA Standard for IL-24, and as a Western Blot control. Interleukin-24, a member of the IL-10 family of cytokines, acts on non-hematopoetic tissues like skin, lung, and reproductive tissue. It plays a critical role in wound healing, arthritis, cancer, and psoriasis.
