Canine Interleukin-21 (IL-21) Recombinant has been recombinantly produced in yeast and purified using ion-exchange chromatography. This is a lyophilized powder with a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
This product is endotoxin free, naturally folded, and post-translationally modified. This product can be used in cell culture, as an ELISA Standard for IL-21, and as a Western Blot control. Interleukin-21 is critical for regulating immune cells like natural killer (NK) and cytotoxic T cells that work to eliminate abnormal cells (infected with a virus, cancerous, etc). Interleukin-21 works by stimulating cell reproduction in the cells it targets.
