Xylazine is an approved veterinary medicine used as a sedative with analgesic and muscle relaxant properties. Xylazine is often used in combination with illicit substances such as fentanyl and heroin either to enhance the drug effects or increase the street value by increasing the substance's total weight. This addition can often be life-threatening. Rapid xylazine test strips, used to detect xylazine in illicit drugs, can help medical professionals and researchers obtain critical information on xylazine exposure. The BSA-PEG2-Xylazine conjugate is designed to be used for various research and detection purposes. Each lot of the conjugate consists of an optimally loaded BSA (5-10 xylazine molecules per BSA molecule as determined by mass spectrometry).
The product is sold as 1 vial of 500 μg (Cat# CM52141-500UG). For bulk orders, please contact us for a quote.
