Bromoacetamido-PEG3-azide is a PEG derivative containing an azide group and a bromide (Br). The azide group enables Click Chemistry. The bromide (Br) is a very good leaving group for nucleophilic substitution reactions. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
