Instant TAE Buffer is a nucleic acid electrophoresis buffer widely used in biological research, which is mainly used for agarose gel electrophoresis of DNA. Using TAE as electrophoresis buffer, the mobility of double-stranded linear DNA is faster. When the fragment is larger than 13 kb, TAE is generally recommended for electrophoretic separation, and it is suitable for DNA fragment recovery, but the buffer capacity of TAE is small and is not recommended for long-term electrophoresis (e.g., overnight).
