  - Application Description
    
    This antibody can be used in ELISA assays (1: 8,000 dilution) and Western blot. It recognizes human MED10 (hNut2), a subunit protein of Mediator (MED) complex. The Mediator is a multiprotein coactivator required for activation of RNA polymerase II transcription by DNA binding transcription factors. The MED10 has been assigned to the middle domain of Mediator and it interacts physically with the carboxy-terminal domain (CTD) of largest RNA polymerase II subunit according to electron microscopic data.
