CD3's immunohistochemical detection locates the cytoplasmic component of CD3 protein. Anti-CD3 isconsidered to be a pan-T-cell marker and reacts with an antigen present at the surface and in thecytoplasm of T lymphocytes. Anti-CD3 is widely used for the identification of immature and mature T-cell malignancies.
