CD25, Interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain, is the alpha subunit of the cell surface receptor whichregulates regulatory T-cells. CD25 has been detected in various hematological malignancies includingadult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma, and hairy cell leukemia. has also been useful in identifyingmast cells in skin biopsies in the setting of Urticaria Pigmentosa, which is predictive of SystemicMastocytosis.
