BCL6 is a transcriptional regulator gene which codes for a 706-amino-acid nuclear zinc fingerprotein. In normal tissue these antibodies have strong nuclear staining for a subset of B-lymphocytes, mostly located in germinal centers (GC). BCL6 antibodies stain malignant cells infollicular lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphomas, Burkitt lymphoma, 4 classical Hodgkinlymphoma, as well as majority of tumor cells in nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkinlymphoma. BCL6 expression has been also seen in anaplastic large cell lymphomas (ALCL)
