Ald-Ph-PEG24-NHS ester is a PEG derivative containing a benzaldehyde moiety and an NHS ester. The benzaldhyde can react with primary amines. The NHS ester can also react with amines to form stable amide bonds. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the solubility of compounds in aqueous media.
