7-O-(Amino-PEG4)- paclitaxel contains a paclitaxel moiety which is used a treatment for certain types of cancers. The amine group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde) etc. The hydrophilic PEG spacer makes the compound more compatible in aqueous media.
