We offer very pure 7-Deaza-2’-deoxyadenosine (2’-deoxytubercidin), 7-Deaza-2’-deoxyGuanosine, and 7-Deaza-2’-deoxyInosine phosphoramidite and supports for research and development.

These analogs of natural deoxy Inosine, deoxy Adenosine, and deoxy Guanosine have found great interest among molecular biologists for the purpose of localizing DNA-enzyme interactions1 and facilitating DNA sequencing using M13 chain-termination methodology.2

The oligonucleotides containing these bases have reduced band compression which occurs due to strong GC base pairing. The high stability of the oligomers containing these bases and their possible application in MALDI mass spectrometry3 allows for these substances to play a key role in DNA sequencing. The 7-deaza bases are related to 2’-deoxyadenosine, 2’-deoxyguanosine and form stable base pairs in duplex DNA.4
