6-Dimethylallylaminopurine riboside (2iP-R) is an adenine-based cytokinin (plant-specific chemical hormone) that promotes cell division in plant roots and shoots. It is a precursor of the cytokinin Zeatin which shows anti-proliferative activities against MCF-7 breast cancer cells.
