High quality 300nm LUV liposomes labeled with fluorescein DHPE are ready to use. The liposomes are prepared by the extrusion method to 300nm with tight particle size distribution. The product is semisterile filtered through 0.45um filters and filled in autoclaved vials guaranteed to be stable for 3 months stored in the refrigerator. The phospholipid, fluorescein DHPE is labeled on the head group with the green-fluorescent pH-sensitive fluorophore, fluorescein (excitation/emission maxima ~496/519nm).
