        • Value of magnessium reference standard solution is based on its reaction with cresolphtalein complexone; mutual interference should be minimized by using ethylene glycol – bis(ß- aminoethyl ether)-N,N,N’,N’ –tetraacetic acid (EGTA) for determination of Mg. Standard Working concentration ranges of 0.5-10 ppm for Mg.
