      • Overview
        • Our monodispersed bare silica particles (UniSil), are high-purity silica chromatographic media using its own patented technology, for your analytical analysis and preparative chromatographic purifications of active pharmaceutical ingredients and other high-value substances. UniSil particles have uniformed particle size, perfect spherical shape, and excellent mechanical strength, enabling easy column packing, high column efficiency, and low back pressure.

          • Lower back pressure
          • High efficiency
          • Better bed stability

We also offer monodispersed UniSil with ultra wide pore sizes (UniSil UWP) of from 500Å to 2000Å. Our unique pore size control technique generates uniform through pore structure. With pore diameters of 1000 Å and 2000 Å, UniSil UWP media are useful for separating many interesting large molecules such as proteins, oligonucleotides, and other biomolecules that cannot be separated using conventional narrow pore media currently on the market.

We offer bare UniSil HP series particles with larger pore volume (>1.1 ml/g) for BioSEC purpose. We evaluated effect of pore volume vs. mechanical strength. The unique pore structure and monodispersed particle size allow the particle pore volume larger than 1.0 mL/g while particles still maintain reasonable mechanical strength. The particles properties such as pore size, pore volume, and mechanical strength, are fully characterized. The applications of these particles using protein standards, adenovirus associated virus (AAVs), and IgM antibody will be demonstrated for their high resolution separations.

Besides monodispersed UniSil particles used for chromatography purpose, we also offer silica particles with 50 µm or larger sizes for SPE, oligonucleotide synthesis support, and other applications. For example, 50 µm silica particles with pore sizes of 500Å, 1000Å, and 1500Å have been used for oligonucleotide synthesis support.
