      • Overview
        • Our Mycoplasma Detection Kit is a Taqman probe-based quantitative PCR (qPCR) kit for the detection of mycoplasma. The FAM-labeled primer/probe system is designed to target the highly conserved 16S rRNA operon coding region of the mycoplasma genome. With our Mycoplasma qPCR Detection Kit, 16 species of mycoplasma can be detected. Biological materials such as cell culture supernatants or sera can be used directly as templates.
The kit is designed to preclude false-positive results caused by carryover contamination. The dUTP/UNG enzyme system in the kit can reduce amplicon contamination during the performance of nucleic acid amplification reaction, thus greatly improving the accuracy of the assay.

          Features
          • Easy to use - Detection can be performed directly using 1μL of cell culture supernatant or serum without DNA extraction.
          • High sensitivity and accuracy - Penicillin and streptomycin do not inhibit mycoplasma nor affect assay sensitivity.
          • High specificity - The kit is highly specific and does not detect bacterial, fungal or eukaryotic DNA.
          • Fast detection - Results can be obtained within 1 hour.
          • Complete reaction system - The kit contains negative and positive controls.
          • Safety - Controls are not infectious.
