Tantalum is a dark grey, lustrous transition metal praised for its corrosion resistance and high temperature capability. It possesses unique properties that make tantalum indispensable across electronics, chemical processing, aerospace, and other industries.
We specialize in providing premium tantalum sheet in a range of alloys, sizes, and finishes to suit customer requirements. Our sheets are precision rolled for tight thickness tolerances. We can supply sheet gauges from 0.001" to 0.125" thick, and widths up to 12" wide, with a mirror-smooth #8 finish suitable for anodic bonding.
With an extremely high melting point over 3,000C, tantalum sheet maintains ductility and corrosion resistance even at high temperatures. This allows engineers to utilize it for critical chemical reactor components and high-temperature furnace elements. The stable passivated oxide layer on tantalum also provides biocompatibility for medical implants.
