The TAMRA dye has achieved prominence as a dye for oligonucleotide labeling and automated DNA sequencing applications. DBCO will react with azide functionalized compounds or biomolecules without catalyst to form a stable triazole linkage, which is an ideal alternative to copper intolerant applications.
