Swab samples can be stored at room temperature (25°C) for more than 3 months or -20°C / -80°C for long time by simply soaking in the reagent.

    Swab DNA Preserve Tubes should be stored dry at room temperature (15–25°C) and are stable for at least 12 months under these conditions, if not otherwise stated on the label. Storage of Reagent at lower temperatures may cause precipitation. Before using the reagent, redissolve the precipitate by heating to 37°C with agitation.
