Silicified Microcrystalline Cellulose, a unique complex of Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) and Colloidal Silicon Dioxide (CSD). A highly functional and multifunctional excipient that simplifies the process, and the inherent high functionality imparts effective functionality to the formulation. It has good fluidity, compressibility and dispersion in formulations. At the same time, it has two properties of brittle fracture and plastic deformation, and has better adhesion performance. The distribution of CSD particles in silicified microcrystalline cellulose is uniform, so the specific surface area is five times that of MCC, and the compressibility is improved by 30%-50%. The increase in specific surface area leads to better fluidity and compressibility, thereby improving formulation content uniformity and stability. When used for direct compression, the granulation process can be omitted, and the types and amounts of auxiliary materials can also be greatly reduced, and excellent, uniform and cost-saving tablets can be prepared.
