Screw Caps for External Threaded 2D SAFE® Tubes

Material: Low Binding Virgin Polypropylene. Best sealing capability thanks to our patented, highly reliable two-point TPE (thermoplastic elastomers) compression in the screw cap. The sealing points are located on the inner wall and on the upper edge of the tube. This highly sophisticated sealing technique is only possible through precise two-component injection molding in the manufacturing process. Produced using 2 component process: The seal (compression ring) is injection moulded onto the cap. No manual overtwisting possible. Extremely space-saving. Cap consists of polypropylene (PP), the seal (compression ring) consists of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). Cap head with internal 8-face torx socket for positive contact with appreciate tool, automatic, half-automatic and manual capper/decapper. Storage over liquid nitrogen at down to -196 °C (LN2). Available in 12 colours: white, yellow, orange, red, blue, pink, signalgreen, green, signalred, grey, brown and black. Available as pre-capped, pre-stacked, in a cap rack or as bulk ware. Manufactured under ISO 8 clean room conditions (certified free of DNA, RNA, DNase, RNase, endotoxins/pyrogenics, ATP); further optimisation with clean room class ISO 7 and sterilisation with beta radiation or ETO gassing possible.
