TIPIN Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 324 amino acids (1-301) and having a molecular mass of 36.9kDa. TIPIN is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. TIPIN is a member of the CSM3 family. TIPIN protein is essential for normal advancement of S-phase and vital for cell existence after DNA damage or replication stress. TIPIN is specifically necessary for the ATR - CHEK1 pathway in the replication checkpoint induced by hydroxyurea or ultraviolet light.
