        • SOX2 Human Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 208 amino acids (1-200 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 23.1kDa. SOX2 protein is fused to an 8 amino acid His-Tag at C-terminus and purified by standard chromatography. SOX2 is a transcription factor that forms a trimeric complex with OCT4 on DNA and controls the expression of a number of genes involved in embryonic development such as YES1, FGF4, UTF1 and ZFP206. SOX4 is important for early embryogenesis and for embryonic stem cell pluripotency.

          Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
