  - RASSF1A Human Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 376 amino acids (1-340 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 42.9kDa. RASSF1A is fused to a 36 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. RASSF1A protein is a potential tumor suppressor like the RAS effector proteins. Presence or absence expression of this gene has been related with the pathogenesis of a variety of cancers, which suggests the tumor suppressor function of this RASSF1A gene. The inactivation of RASSF1A was found to be associated with the hypermethylation of its CpG-island promoter region. RASSF1A required for death receptor-dependent apoptosis.
