NHLH1 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 156 amino acids (1-133) and having a molecular mass of 17.0kDa. NHLH1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. HLH (helix-loop-helix) proteins are a putative transcription factors family. Several HLH proteins take part in growth and development of an extensive range of tissues and species. NHLH1 functions as a DNA-binding protein and has a role in the regulation of cell-type determination in the developing nervous system.
