- Overview
  - SELE Human Recombinant produced by mammalian expression system in human cells is a single polypeptide chain containing 543 amino acids (22-556). SELE is fused to an 8 amino acid His-tag at C-terminus and is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. E-selectin which is also called Endothelial leukocyte adhesion molecule 1, ELAM1, ELAM belongs to a family of divalent cation-dependent carbohydrate-binding glycoproteins or adhesion molecules. Eselectin is expressed on the surface of endothelial cells and mediates the interaction of leukocytes and platelets with endothelial cells during an inflammatory response. E-selectin is present in single copy in the human genome and contains 14 exons spanning about 13 kb of DNA.

    It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized SELE in 1xPBS to a concentration no less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
