QuickBlue Fast Staining Solution

QuickBlue Fast Staining Solution is an environmentally friendly gel dye solution, which is used to visualize the proteins in the gel. This product provides a fast protein-staining method with fixation-free and decolorization-free for the replacement of the conventional Coomassie Brilliant blue dye staining.

Staining Protocol:
1. After electrophoresis, place gel in a clean tray.
2. Add sufficient volume of QuickBlue Fast Staining Solution to cover the gel.
3. Incubate at room temperature with gentle agitation.
4. Discard the staining solution and store the stained gel in water.

Note:
The general staining incubation time is 10 to 20 min, and more than 100 ng protein could be stained. For staining 10 ng protein, the incubation time can be extended to 1-2 hours.
After 2 hours of staining, the protein bands basically do not deepen further, while the background continues to deepen, so staining for no more than 2 hours is generally recommended.
The fast method to remove excess dye from the gel matrix background is to gently agitate the stained gel in water for 2 hour, during which the water is changed 4 times. It is also possible to soak the gel in water overnight to make the background highly transparent.
