- Overview
  - Prothermal® can be applied in waterbaths, thermostats, heatable cuvette-holders and in all temperable watercooling systems.
    Clean the waterbath / thermostat before applying Prothermal®. Add 2-3ml (<50°C) or 1-2ml (>50°C) Prothermal® per 1 liter demineralized water. End-concentration is 0.1 - 0.3%.
    The effectiveness of PROTHERMAL can be monitored by the blue color. Usually, Prothermal® should be renewed after 2 months in waterbaths and after 3-4 months in closed cooling systems.

  - Application Description
    
    Prothermal is a concentrate for the maintanance of the water quality in thermostats and waterbaths. Prothermal® prolongs the use of the water filled in waterbaths, thermostats and similar. It acts germicidial and complex-binding to prevent the growth of algae, mold and bacteria. In addition, Prothermal® prevents the tempered equipment and watertubes from obstruction and polution and impedes the deposit of calcium and heavy metals. These cleaning effects provide for consistent heat-transmittance.
