Poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) is a polymer of ethylene glycol units and is hydrophilic in nature. PEG has high hydration capacity and is structurally flexible. PEG has advantage as a drug conjugate due to biocompatibility and nonexistence of steric hindrances in its structure.
Application
Poly(ethylene glycol) has been used: 1, in the transformation buffer in yeast2, as a constituent of dengue virus isolation buffer3, for concentration of lentivirus particles4, in the crystallization of herpesvirus nuclear egress complex (NEC)Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
