POLR3K Human Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 131 amino acids (1-108 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 14.7kDa. POLR3K is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Polymerase III Polypeptide K, known as PORL3K, is a small vital subunit of RNA polymerase III. The carboxy-terminal domain of PORL3K owns a sequence which is very similar to the carboxy-terminal domain of an RNA polymerase II elongation factor. PORL3K takes part in sensing and limiting infection by intracellular bacteria and DNA viruses. PORL3K is also plays a role as nuclear and cytosolic DNA sensor which takes part in the innate immune response.
