Paxilline is a tremorgenic mycotoxin isolated from species of Penicillium, Acremonium and Emericella.
Paxilline is soluble in ethanol, methanol, DMF or DMSO. Poor water solubility.Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
Background
Paxilline selectively blocks high-conductance Ca2+-activated potassium channels and inhibits binding to the cerebellar inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate (InsP(3)) receptor.
