NAA10 Human Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 255 amino acids (1-235 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 28.6kDa (the molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will appear higher). NAA10 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. NAA10 is a member of the acetyltransferase family. NAA10 interacts with NAA15, HIF-1 and with the ribosome. In its binding to HIF-1, NAA10 functions as a protein acetyltransferase by regulating its stability. In various cell lines, NAA10 is downregulated in response to hypoxia. NAA10 is expressed during the course of the development of the brain.
