N-(Biotin)-N-bis(PEG1-alcohol) is a branched PEG derivative with biotin and hydroxyl moieties. The branches are all connected to a central nitrogen atom. The biotin group is used for the conjugation of proteins and can also be used for labeling. The alcohol groups can react to further derivatize the compound. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility of the compound.
