Mogengel Mouse Liver Ductal Organoid Kit (Differentiation) is a chemically defined cell culture medium for the establishment and culture of mouse hepatobiliary duct-like organs derived from adult stem cells. The self-renewing epithelium of the hepatobiliary ducts is driven by the proliferation of stem cells and their progenitor cells located in the liver. Hepatobiliary duct-like organs are characterised as real organs because of their epithelial expression in terms of structure, cell type composition and self-renewal kinetics. Hepatobiliary duct-like organs can induce liver-like cells in differentiation media, providing an unprecedented model for the study of human liver development and disease.
