Methyl iodide (13C, 99%; D3, 99%) is a carbon-13 and deuterated reagent that is a often used in organic synthesis as a source of methyl groups. It contains copper wire, which acts as a stabilizer. It is also known as iodomethane (13C, 99%; D3, 99%).
