      • Overview
        • CTACK Mouse Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 95 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 10.9kDa. The CTACK is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. CTACK is a chemotactic factor that attracts skin-associated memory T-lymphocytes. CTACK is involved in mediating homing of lymphocytes to cutaneous sites. CTACK Binds to CCR10.

          Type
          Recombinant Proteins
          Purification
Greater than 98.0% as determined by: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
          Formulation
Lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered concentrated solution in 20mM PB, pH7.4 and 300mM NaCl.
          Storage
Lyophilized CTACK although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CTACK should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
          Activity
Biological Activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human peripheral blood lymphocytes is in a concentration range of 10-100 ng/ml.

          * For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic/therapeutics procedures.

      • Applications
        • Application Description
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized CTACK in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human peripheral blood lymphocytes is in a concentration range of 10-100 ng/ml.
