Our maleimide activated bovine serum albumin (also known as BSA or "Fraction V") LL is designed for direct conjugation of BSA with proteins, peptides, or other ligands containing free sulfhydryl groups for use in immunization. This product consists of a lower loaded BSA that has been modified with EMCS (N-(Ɛ-maleimidocaproyloxy) succinimide ester) to attach 2-8 maleimide groups per BSA molecule.
This product includes a slightly longer ethylene linker, making it more suitable for immunization. It also offers improved stability for labeling reactions.
