  - IDNK E. Coli Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 210 amino acids (1-187 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 23.4kDa. IDNK is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Thermosensitive Gluconokinase, also known as IDNK is a 187 a.a protein which is a member of the gluconokinase gntK/gntV family. IDNK catalyzes theconversion of ATP and D-gluconate to ADP and 6-phospho-D-gluconate. In addition, IDNK is considered to take part in gender determination, deletion of the distal portion of 9p is able to lead to a development of male to female sex reversal, the phenotype of a female with a male X, Y genotype.
