  - Predicted MW: Monomer, 7.8 kDa (69 aa). Macrophage inflammatory protein-1 beta (MIP-1 beta ), also known as CCL4, is produced by macrophages and functions as a mitogen-inducible cytokine. MIP-1 beta signals through the chemokine receptor CCR5 to chemoattract immune cells. MIP-1 beta induces inflammatory responses, including neutrophil superoxide production. The MIP-1 beta and MIP-1 alpha heterodimer exhibits antiviral activity against the human immunodeficiency virus 1 (HIV-1).

  - Application Description
    
    Centrifuge vial before opening, Suspend the product by gently pipetting the above recommended solution down the sides of the vial. DO NOT VORTEX. Allow several minutes for complete reconstitution. For prolonged storage, dilute to working aliquots in a 0.1% BSA solution, store at -80°C and avoid repeat freeze thaws. Upon reconstitution, a small amount of visible precipitate can be expected. A 10% overfill has been added to the total material vialed to compensate for this loss.
