Eprobe®/Eprimer™ is a fluorescence labeled oligonucleotide that provides target-specific signals with significant signal to noise ratio. At the single-strand state, the two fluorescence dyes attached to Eprobe®/Eprimer™ are quenched by interaction of each other. Upon hybridation to a target template, the dyes are separated and emits a strong fluorescence signal. We provide custom Eprobe®/Eprimer™ for your research.
Benefits of Using Eprobe®/Eprimer™:
• High S/N ratio
• High target specifity
• Real-time PCR and melting curve analysis with a single probe
Quality and Consistency
• Guaranteed yield: 10nmol
• HPLC purification
• Maximum length: 26 bases
Distribution
• The products is shipped as a dried product in a 1.5mL micro tube.
Instructions
• Currently, fluorescent-dye-labeling at a thymidine (T) site is only available.
• Multi-labeling is not available.
• Thiazole orange (EX/EM: 510/530nm) and Thiazole pink (EX/EM: 570/590nm) are available as a dye.
• 3'-end labeling is not available
• Avoid labeling at nucleotides positioned less than 3nt from 5'-end or 3'-end. It may cause undesired affection in reaction/detection due to change in colour, increased baseline signal, and other unpredictable effects on the labeled oligonucleotide.
Ex.: 5'-ZAGCAGC..., 5'-AZCCGCA..., 5'-AGZCGA..., ...AGCZGC-3', ...CGAZG-3'
(Z: dye-labeled T)
• Maximum allowable length of a mononucleotide repeat is four (for example ...GGGG...), otherwise we cannot guarantee minimum yield 10nmol.
• Contact us if you need consultation about the dye position.
Quality Control
• Purity assay with reverse phase HPLC (all products, minimum 80% purity)
• Purity assay with PAGE (sampling test)Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
