          Background

          D-Lin-MC3-DMA is the most effective cationic lipid and has been synthesized for lipid nanoparticles (LNP) to deliver siRNA. D-Lin-MC3-DMA can be used to design lipid nanoparticles for delivery of plasmid DNA in vitro and in vivo. LNP systems for in vitro and in vivo delivery of plasmid DNA containing d-lin-mc3-dma can be efficient, non-toxic pDNA delivery systems for in vivo and in vitro gene expression.
