        • CHAC2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 207 amino acids (1-184) and having a molecular mass of 23.3 kDa. CHAC2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus. Cation transport regulator-like protein 2 (CHAC2) is a member of the chaC family. Catalyzes the cleavage glutathione into 5-oxoproline and a Cys-Gly dipeptide. Acts specifically on glutathione, but not on other gamma-glutamyl peptides.

          Formulation
          The CHAC2 solution (0.5mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 1mM DTT, 100mM NaCl and 10% glycerol.
          Storage
          Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
