        • Cell spheroids adhere to the surface of a Cell-able® plate (collagen Type I coated), which dramatically improves operability compared to conventional 3D culture plates. Cell-able® plate enables culturing of cancer cells, including cell lines and patient-derived primary tumor cells, in a spheroid state. This product simplifies working with 3D cell cultures, allowing you to work in your desired manner. Self-assembled cell spheroids adhere to the plate, making the use of Cell-able® plate easy in the same manner as a 2D culture plate. Spheroids are actively formed at appropriate positions in the well, which facilitates the automation of culture and assays. Several hundred spheroids of uniform size self-assemble in each well, thereby providing a source of reliable, reproducible data.
          • Easy handling
          Cell-able® plate has a unique culture surface divided into cell-attaching and non-cell-attaching areas, which is enabled by the photosensitive material technology. On the Cell-able® plate, cells spontaneously aggregate to the cell-attaching areas and form numerous adherent spheroids on the flat culture surface. These attached spheroids are easier to handle than conventional 3D cultures, which often require careful handling or are challenging to keep in focus under a microscope.
          • High throughput
          With the Cell-able® plate, automated equipment, such as automatic dispensers, can be used for medium exchange or biomarker staining in addition to cell seeding because the spheroids are attached to a flat surface. Additionally, most of the spheroids remain on the culture surface, even after roughly changing the medium, continuously adding or removing liquid, or mixing a reagent in the well. Careful handling, which often decreases assay throughput, is not required with the Cell-able® plate. Additionally, the spheroids' adherence to a flat surface facilitates simple and repeatable focusing under a microscope and promotes imaging assays.
          • Good reliability
          On the Cell-able® plate, multiple uniformly sized spheroids are formed in each well. In the 96-well format, approximately 800 spheroids form per well. Multiple uniformly sized spheroids help prevent inter-well variation often caused by inconsistent spheroid sizes and provide reliable and accurate data.
