For the rapid identification and differentiation of Neisseria spp., including N. gonorrhoeae and N. meningitidis, and Moraxella (Branhamella) catarrhalis. CarboFerm™ uses acid production from carbohydrates to differentiate and identify Neisseria species and M. catarrhalis. Performs a glucose, lactose, maltose, sucrose, and butyrate test.
