Beta-Zearalenol (β-Zearalenol) is a non-steroidal estrognic mycotoxin produced by Fusarium spp. Like other Zearalenones, β-Zearalenol has pronounced estrogenic activity. Contamination of grains like maize by Fusarium species results in high levels of Zearalenol and poses a food quality issue for the health of humans and animals. it can be used as a reactant in biological studies such as the synthesis of amino glycoside nucleotides, glucuronides, and zearalenone.
β-Zearalenol is soluble in ethanol, methanol, DMF and DMSO and has limited water solubility. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
