Azido-PEG3-methyl ester is a PEG linker derivative containing azide and methyl ester moieties. The azide group can react with alkynes in copper-free Click Chemistry reactions. Methyl ester can be hydrolyzed under strong basic condition. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility of compounds in aqueous media.
