      • Overview
        • Specificity: Anti-IFN beta In Vivo Antibody - Ultra Low Endotoxin (HDB-4A7) recognizes an epitope on Mouse IFN-beta and binds specifically to murine IFNbeta and does not bind murine IFNg or several different IFNa species (a-1,4,5 or 13); HDb-4A7 binds both recombinant and natural forms
Purification method: This antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Isotype Control: Mouse IgG2a In Vivo Isotype Control - Ultra Low Endotoxin [C1.18.4] (ICH2245UL)
Endotoxin: ≤ 0.75 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method
          Aggregation: Aggregation level ≤ 1%

          Regulatory Status
Functional Assay: In Vitro Activity of HDB-4A7 - inhibits IFNb-induced Stat1 phosphorylation (level of inhibition is similar to that seen using anti-IFNAR1 mAb (MAR1-5A3). - blocks IFNb induction of MHC-I expression (H2-Kb) using L929 or fibrosarcoma cell lines. - neutralizes IFNb-induced antiviral activity in vitro following infection of L929 cells with VSV In Vivo Activity of HDB-4A7 - circulates with a half-life of ~ 14 days. - blocks in vivo IFNb leading to increased the lethality of mice infected with West Nile Virus (WNV), similar to susceptibility of IFNb-/- mice.
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
