Recognizes the CD34 antigen-a single chain transmembrane glycoprotein of 105-120kD.Expressed on haemopoietic cells, including bone marrow and blood. It is expressed on the majority ofcells in acute lymphoid leukaemia (ALL) as well as cells in acute myelogenous leukaemia (AML). It isalso found on capillary endothelial cells. There are three classes of CD34 epitope defined bydifferential sensitivity to enzymatic cleavage with glycoprotease from Pasteurella haemolytica andwith neuraminidase. QBEND/10 specifically recognizes a class II epitope.Immunogen: Human endothelial cell membrane vesicles.
